Search engine optimization is the art and science of obtaining top positions on Google. There are many ways to accomplish this, but the very core of seo is writing content. When you take a close look at Google, you will begin to understand that everything on Google is content of one flavor or another. The very reason that some sites make it to the cherished top spots is the fact that the people have written excellent content, placed the correct keyword specific title, and placed all the elements needed for top rankings on the search engines.

There is simply no way around the fact that writing content is the very way, and the only substantial way, to gain high level rankings on Google, Yahoo, MSN, WindowsLive and all the other major search engines. Most people are timid when it comes to writing. They seem to take the attitude that they will be embarrassed for someone to read their material. I would say to those fearful individuals to strike into new and uncharted territory on the Internet. You will not be downgraded for your writing. As a matter of fact, you may soon discover that out of the millions and millions of people online today, there will be a certain percent of those that will actually write what you have to say.

Take for example my writing concerning search engine optimization. You see, this is my passion and my pure pleasure to sit in front of my pc and express myself through the written word. Most of the articles that I write are read by many people, and hopefully, they will gain a new perspective on this somewhat mysterious thing called getting top rankings on Google. I have worked incredibly hard to achieve the notoriety and presence of becoming an seo master. I have worked for years in obtaining this title. When I first began my internet journey, I knew nothing about keywords, ad content, links or any of the necessary elements needed to gain notoriety and presence on the net. Through some serious mentoring from my trusted friend Tom Prendergast, I was able to break into the new ground of marketing websites successfully on the Internet. I must say that this is what I was destined to become.

The core of true SEO is simplicity. When you begin to view Google in the most simple way possible, perhaps you will begin to see just how important that content writing is. You do realize that writing content, and not advertising, is the best possible way to get your business noticed online. When you really begin to see that people are sick of spam emails, jump on board the next pre-launch deal and all that they are searching for is good quality information that will help them build their business.

How many articles does it take to gain a presence on Google? That is the question without an answer. You write until your fingers start bleeding, and then you write some more. There is never a quick answer to building a strong business online. It simply takes as long as it takes. If you have the discipline, drive and determination needed to succeed, then my friend, you will indeed succeed in your online journey.
