Delegation management is the management of people to tasks making sure a business moves forward and achieves the success that the strategic plan intends. Delegation management begins with strategic planning and then moves through out the business. Once a strategic plan is agreed upon, then the implementation of the plan requires delegation. The management of the delegation process to implement the strategic plan is a vital part of business growth. The strategic plan is approved by upper management and delegated to all management throughout the company.
Examples of delegation management is a Chairman of the Board of a business giving the authority to implement a strategic plan. The Chairman of the Board delegates the task to the President of the company. The President then divides the task and delegates to several Executive Vice Presidents who then delegate the task to people below them. Each management level requires delegation management of the next level down with everyone performing Delegation Management to the next level. Every level is managing their required duties with the responsibility of getting their task done. Delegation Management can be seen everywhere in the corporate structure, with each level of management bearing their own responsibility."
