Here's how it all started! Mr. Butch Hamilton, SEO Master and I [Dr. Raymond Jewell, Economic Advisor] were talking one day and we were discussing how many people we have talked to over the years that have been taken advantage of on the internet. Butch has a very lucrative SEO [Search Engine Optimization] practice with clients from all over the world. I run a successful International Economic Consulting business and have been doing it for over thirty years. I have been teaching people how to build businesses on line and off line successfully for these many years and was discussing with Butch about how many scams that I saw on the internet. That I was upset that people who really wanted to start a home business and were ready to step out and take a risk, ended up listening to others who had no clue about running a home business. These innocent people were sold a business that the sellers knew would never last. As a matter of fact these very people that sold the "pie in the sky projections" to the unsuspecting people were probably on their second, third, or forth home business opportunity. I told Butch that I was irritated that people spent their hard earned money and got nothing, not even a return on their investment [ROI]. In reality they got conned!
Butch told me that he too had people who had spent thousands of dollars [Many times, high six figures.] to get SEO work done, and came to him complaining that the so called SEO experts promised that they could get huge results, and didn't do anything. Butch said he had to clean up other peoples messes more times than not. He also was scratching his head over all the money that people lose on the internet. We both could not figure out why this was happening, unless people wanted to start a business so badly that they just totally ignored the fact that they had to get a mentor to assist them in building their business. Here's another thing that we were confused about and that is how so many so called mentors were out there that had no clue as to how to run a business. They would buy into a internet MLM company that sold mentoring and now they were an expert but never actually ran a successful business or knew how to run one.
We wondered is there was a place that people could go to and get valid truthful information. We began to look for such a place and could not find anything. Everything we found was some sort of hype where the focus was on just taking the money and not on consumer value. Focusing on the client or customer was unheard of.
It's just all too frustrating!
So Butch and I agreed that there was a need to put together a program that gave information, for free to people so they could a least learn how to find the good stuff and not be taken advantage of. We also decided to put together a business mentoring model that taught people how to build a business from scratch, and teach them how to market it on the internet with the end result being a finished viable business.
So we went to work and put together a program that would give anyone all the necessary information to allow them to start a home business, and get top positions in the search engines, all for free. Now just to let you know, we are not a benevolent organization we do charge money for what we do but only when the clients decide to go to the higher levels. [Butch has his SEO business, and I run my Consulting business.] We decided to give the first level for free to give back to people, otherwise we would be hypocrites if we were complaining but doing nothing about it. We wanted to give people enough information so they could set up and run a business successfully at no charge.
But when Butch and I decided to put together the information system we found that people wanted to have human involvement with the information. They wanted a live person at the other end. So we put together the Virtual Office International Symposium to address this need. We already had software that allowed us to communicate with anyone anywhere in the world, through computers, so we said "why couldn't we utilize our systems to run a Seminar where we would teach people all over the world how to build their own Virtual Office and tech them good business and SEO information that we believed lacking. Thus the Virtual Office International Symposium was born. We started to build lead capture pages and started to put them out on the internet for people to sign up from.
When we went out to the internet with our lead capture pages all of a sudden people started to sign up. We started to get a lot of interest!
Our Virtual Office allows people to come together, through the internet at their computer, to meet and listen to information. They can ask questions if they wish along with using a whiteboard to draw on in order to get a point across. [Without giving you a commercial here you just simply have to see Virtual Office to believe it.] This system is just like having everyone sitting in the same office or conference room. So we decided to teach people how to market internationally and how to build a business and to be able to compete globally with the bigger companies.
We now went to work and put together information in a delivery system to guide people step by step in a system called "Partner Development Program". We have two levels, one that people get in the Symposium and the other for the "Practice Management Program'. As we started to build our system we discovered that many people wanted to have a "Master Mind Group" that they could be a member of where everyone comes together to share ideas so we developed our "Practice Management Program" where people are on a continuing education program learning systems and strategies that make their business grow even better and more efficient. This program has extensive advance level systems that teach marketing techniques that increase cash flow. The point is that you have to have the business going to get to this level.
If you build it they will come!
As we were building this information delivery system Butch kept saying "Ray if we build it people will come". All of a sudden as we are building the delivery system, as we would get negative calls for what ever reason from people complaining about not making money on the internet we would tell them about the Virtual Office International Symposium and they would all want to know where they could sign up. We started to get an amazing response. So we realized that we were on the right track. We realized when we put people first and not money people would sense it and they felt at ease. Some ask, "what's the catch" and to that we tell them there is no catch. You continue to learn and no one will ask you to spend a dime, unless you want to get to the advanced training.
